EBEN J. CAREY, AM, MD, FACS
PI DELTA PHI '23
Dr. Eben J. Carey was born in Chicago, IL on July 31, 1889. He was a graduate of St. Vincent High School in Los Angeles; his premedical, and first and second years of his medical training at the University of California. Paying his own way through school, he won his Bachelor, Master and Doctor of Science at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. In 1925, he graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago with his MD. Dr. Carey was a charter member of Pi Delta Phi in 1912 and was a delegate at the XVIII Grand Chapter Convention in St. Louis in 1913.
